TOYOTA GROWS ITS INVOLVEMENT IN EQUESTRIAN SPORT image

Toyota South Africa Motors (TSAM) has announced that it will partner with the South African National Equestrian Schools Association (SANESA) National Championships to further support to the future of equestrian riders in South Africa. SANESA is an organisation committed to promoting all forms of equestrian sport within South Africa's schooling communities and is also recognised by the South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (SASCOC). “Toyota is proud to be one of the most loved vehicle brands for South African families,” says Glenn Crompton, Vice President of Marketing at TSAM. “We're excited to partner with SANESA to support South African learners competing in over 14 equestrian competition disciplines. “Over recent years equestrian sports have really increased in popularity in South Africa. We at Toyota SA appreciate the focus, dedication and preparation that families - as well as learners - invest in the sport. For us, it is a great opportunity to give back to the equestrian community and its aspiring athletes.” Toyota has also partnered with Minki van der Westhuizen, an avid fan of equestrian sports and an official ambassador for Toyota, to help create more awareness about the sport among South Africans. Van der Westhuizen is a household name in the local entertainment industry. The SANESA qualifiers are currently underway and will conclude in July 2022.
